How do I receive an invoice for Timetracker for VSTS?
Timetracker for VSTS operates directly with the Visual Studios Team Services’ Marketplace, therefore, the billing process and all invoicing is handled by Microsoft. The Marketplace team has advised us that our customers need to reach out to them to create a ticket via Microsoft in order to request an invoice.
Even though receiving an invoice technically isn’t supported via the Microsoft portal, Azure billing support can pull an invoice and send it to you. As far as we can gather, however, you may have to submit a request each month in order to receive one.
To submit a request, click here: https://portal.azure.com/#blade/Microsoft_Azure_Support/HelpAndSupportBlade
You just need to select the Azure subscription you used to purchase Timetracker, then choose the problem type “Need a Copy of My Bill and Usage”, and in the description field, let them know what month(s) you require.
Update: To our info, charging of Timetracker and other 3rd party extensions should happen very soon on the standard MS Azure and Visual Studio invoices.
