We would like to move our VSTS billing to another Azure subscription. Do we need to uninstall Timetracker for VSTS, cancel the subscription, move the VSTS subscription, and then add Timetracker to VSTS again? Will we lose our Timetracker data if we temporarily remove the extension? Can you guide us to the best way of moving our VSTS subscription, without losing timetracker data?
In order to change to another Azure subscription, you don’t need to uninstall Timetracker. You do, however, need to cancel your current subscription. To do that, you simply have to change the number of paid extension users to "0" with this link: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/vsts/billing/change-number-paid-extension-users?view=vsts(https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/vsts/billing/change-number-paid-extension-users?view=vsts)
Once that is done, complete your move to a different Azure subscription and then just repurchase Timetracker for VSTS.
