Stable API Policies
The stable API version for Timetracker is 2.1 and 3.0.
We guarantee that the API version will be not be affected and will continue working in productive mode for the last two major releases, with the possibility of deprecation after the second major update.
e.g. If API v2.1 was introduced in Timetracker 4, it will continue working in Timetracker 4 and Timetracker 5, but could be deprecated in Timetracker 6. However, the API will continue to work with “deprecated” header response until v7. Considering that the usual cadence of major updates is one (1) year, you can rely on the fact that the API won't change for the next two (2) years.
Preview API Policies
Starting with Timetracker v.4.12, we've opened the API with the 3.0-version preview.
As the "Preview API" is actively developed, it might change at any time, including structural changes, changes in models, responses and URLs until it reaches a stable state (indicated by removed “-preview” flag in version number).
