What is the new version of the 7pace App?
The latest evolution of 7pace App (Beta) will retain everything that made the original great, but will expand to connect to additional systems in a user-friendly way, starting with Github.
What will I see in the beta version of the new 7pace App?
In this very early sneak peek, you'll see a subset of 7pace App functionality: time entry via the Monthly page, Web App, and desktop app for both Azure DevOps and Github. As we rebuild from the ground up, some functionality from the original 7pace App will be missing from the early iterations of the beta, but will evolve and grow as we move further along in development and based on your feedback.
We do sync data between the original 7pace App for DevOps and 7pace App (Beta) for GitHub, so existing customers will have their data available after a short sync period.
Are there any known issues or limitations I should be aware of?
- Very basic functionality.
- Please note that the GitHub user you log in with needs to be part of an Organization (you either need to create a new one or the user needs to be added to an existing one). For more information, click here.
How can I access the beta version?
Those users included as part of the first exclusive beta will be personally invited by 7pace. You can sign up here!
We'll eventually permit sign-ups via the 7pace website and later this year, we'll open it up to allow any user to try it via our website.
What about pricing?
The beta version of the new 7pace App (Beta) for GitHub is free during technical preview.
How can I provide feedback to 7pace on the new app for GitHub?
Please be sure to respond to our email invitation for a sneak peak of the 7pace App (Beta) for GitHub. We will send periodic surveys via email to encourage your input and honest feedback as development continues.
