Limit the work items on which you can track time (no logging on work items under closed sprints)

It would be great if there is the possibility to limit the work items on which you can track time.

E.g. when a sprint is closed (not active anymore) it should not be possible to track hours on User-Stories / Tasks which belong to this sprint. This should put a bit pressure on people to track their times more regularly.

  I'd take it a step further: allow tracking to certain work items based on team or user permissions. We have some teams that like charging to tasks, while others prefer the Product Backlog item. I don't mind if both items are used, just as long as the sum of the completed hours is correct.

  Agree. One of the limitation choices should be work item type. We'd prefer time be always tracked directly against Tasks and not to the parent containers like Backlog Items, Features, etc.
