In some cases administrators need to add custom columns for a workgroup:
f.e.
- we have to monitor on-site / remote works - a custom drop down list is eligible
- we have to add more additional data to a tracked item - like "SD Ticket if applicabe" - which is an external ID, and can't exactly bind to a TFS item...

I think this requirement is covered by "Activity Type" field, which we implemented recently.
