I think we found good solution for defining own timesheet here: https://support.7pace.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115018148163-Default-items-on-Timesheet

Query based timesheet can be nice addition to existing features of it but it is definitely out of scope for us right now.

I am going to close this feature request as we are already preparing pinnable items into timesheet.

This one here is going into the same direction: https://support.7pace.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115018148163-Default-items-on-Timesheet

We like the default timesheet view of showing work items from the current sprint.  We would like to be able to add a few non-sprint work items for tracking internal time that are listed on the timesheet every week.  The caveat for us is that we like that the current timesheet view which shows the task's parent hierarchy to the PBI > Feature > Epic.  If we didn't see that hierarchy with a TFS Query it would be a problem for us.
