Hello,
for us it would be useful to set more granular permissions. For example most users of us have the permission "team". But some of them should create a budget too, without viewing the time explorer (all users) and iterations.

Hi, Andreas,
Thank you so much for this suggestion. I have created a feature request for it in our backlog. We will add any updates here as our development team prioritizes and considers items within that backlog. We also welcome you to subscribe to the 7pace blog, where we regularly update our customers on improvements, additions, and fixes to Timetracker.
Thank you again for your feedback.
Sincerely,

Hi Andreas
thank-you for reaching out. You are right to point out that our role based permissions have not changed significantly since the previous message on this thread, which was 3 years ago now. I can say that during the past few months we noticed an emerging trend of requests about improving our permissions mechanisms. However, implementing these changes would mean adding an extra layer of complexity both in terms of logic and usability, and our experience so far is that most organisations even at the enterprise level are generally able to find a way to work comfortably with the current setup. This is not to say that this is not important, but to explain why so far we have been reluctant to touch such a fundamental area of the application. That being said we revisit our priorities on a regular bases and if the trend I mentioned above continues we may be able to raise this higher up on our backlog in the coming months.
Kind Regards,
Andrea
