Hi

we think that Pace is a very useful feature. Unfortunately we can't get it in queries or as a backlog column or in the Time Explorer, or show it as a diagram on the dashboard, which needs a query. 

It seems like you are calculating the Pace in the frontend and don't save it in any VSTS field (like you do for Completed Work etc). It would be helpful to have this in a field and get it in queries.

  6 years later and I still have the same problem now:

  I want to show the total pace of a time period in a Number Chart.

  Because this isn't a return value of your API, I have to calculate this by myself with isn't possible in the Number Chart because of strong restrictions (no "MathExpression" as formatter possible).

  I would be very happy if you could add this pace field in your work item endpoints.
