In time tracker tab in a work item I see only totals.
It would be very useful to see the breakdown of times per day.
The reason is that I report my hours a few days later. In this scenario I am having a hard time figuring out which days are missing the time report.

I'm interpreting this to mean "show time entry details on Time tab for Work Item". It'd be really nice to easily see the details for all time entries for a task along with who entered the time and any comments.
Currently we can only see total time by person, but I'd like to know what days thy worked and whatever notes they entered.

Greetings,
Thank you for your feedback.
We love that the Time tab contains a really small and simple page. It would be great to improve it, but we don't like the idea of making it overcomplicated, so we should find a way to make it better, but keep it easy and clear. It becomes even harder because Time tab is not a full page, it's just tab within DevOps user interface which, so there is not enough space to create a big interface with lots of controls.
Showing tracks sounds like putting Times Explorer functionality to the tab. If we do that, it obviously also needs additional filtering (and UI for that), because a work item might have an infinite number of worklogs assigned.
Same for showing days - it's a copy of Monthly or Times Explorer with grouping functions. It also needs some date filtering or paging.
From our perspective, all this might make the Time tab way more complicated with not clear UX. If you have an idea of how to make it better for you and keep it simple, we'd really appreciate your ideas and mockups.
I also could suggest adding some buttons or hints to show additional information or open a new page with the data you need. We already have a button there which opens the Times Explorer page with worklogs directly assigned to the item. We could improve it or add another one which could open something else, for example, some reporting page with a report for the item.
Would it work for you? Do you have ideas of what exactly should be shown and in what way?
Kind regards,
Roman

Roman - I'm thinking something like this. (Forgive my horrible UX / Photoshop skills:))
I totally understand the issue with showing the full history on this page, but as this page is designed now, it's for a developer to log time spent on a task. Sometimes it's hard to remember if you logged time on a specific day or not. Having that data at this screen would reduce clicking to another link and digging through reports to figure out when you tracked last.

Hi DanThank you very much for this, it is really helpful for us to actually ‘see’ how our customers envisage the changes they are asking for.We have created a series of backlog items to improve this area of the app overall, and although I don’t have an ETA for this item specifically as of yet, rest assured this is now on our list (internal ID 34248).Thank-you again and have a good start of the week.Kind Regards,AndreaAndrea MoroProduct Owner - www.7pace.com
