Hi Nathan,
Do you have Windows Client installed on your machine? In current version you should install Windows client to be able to Start tracking from Work Items.
Check documentation here: https://support.7pace.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000635583-7pace-Timetracker-Client-Overview

Thank you, Maxim.
I do not have the Windows Client installed and do not want to install it. We are using Visual Studio Team Services Online and want our time tracking solution to be fully web-capable. We are exploring 7pace Timetracker specifically because it is web-based and integrated with the Team Services online experience to minimize the burden on our developers. I will be exploring the Visual Studio (IDE) plugin, but if that does not suffice to track time, we will likely explore other options.
I hope the Start Tracking button can be fixed soon... if not, please consider removing it rather than leaving it there in non-functioning capacity.
Thank you,
Nathan

Hi Nathan,
Thank you for your feedback. We are working on improving Start Tracking button experience, to separate it from Windows client and move whole tracking experience to server side, without binding to any of the client.
We are in the middle of development, we already started using it locally. Planned release of that feature is mid/end of September.

Hi Nathan,
Sorry for big delay. Web-based Timetracker is near here. Release was postponed, but we are planning to move users to v4 gradually during a month.
