Billable as default

Hi!

 

When we report time it's not billable, but almost all the time should be billable. At the moment, our manager has to review all times and mark them as billable. 

We would like to have billable as default, and then he can just uncheck those which shouldn't be billable.

Would that be possible?

  We are having a similar issue.  But rather than wanting all default to billable or all default to non-billable, this is really something set by Work Item.  So up front, for a particular Work Item, we know if its hours should be billable or non-billable.  It would be really great to set something at the Work Item level that dictates billable or non-billable.

  I can't find a setting for when a record is automatically set as Billable. But it seems some records are automatically set as billable and some are not? Could you help me figure this out?

  Hi,

  Unfortunately there is no such a feature right now to set billable = true by default. I will add this into our backlog and we'll implement that shortly.

  @Magnus, I am not sure this can happen, maybe someone is changing rows before you see them?

  yes, great suggestion. I am going to link it to the "Rules" (https://support.7pace.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000233723-Feature-Roadmap) feature where we want to have such features. We planned to have it by the end of the year.
