When entering time in the Add Time dialog we are presented with a masked data entry field where we need to enter values in "HH:MM" format, yet the quick-time-picker options are listed in a decimal format (0.5h, 1h, 2h, 4h). These two forms are not consistent and having the visual cue be of a different form than what is allowed for data entry is a constant source of pain.
Ideally there should be a way to enter time in the users preferred form
- decimal to match the quick time picker options so I can enter values like 3.75 (Three and 3/4 hours) or 0.25 (one quarter hour). The precision with this approach would be limited to what could be expressed in a decimal (7.5 minute blocks = 0.125, 3.75 minute blocks = 0.0625).
- HH:MM to match the current data entry in hours and minutes. The quick-time-picker options for this would need to be shown as "00:30", "01:00", "02:00", "04:00", etc.

Hi Andrew,
Thank you for your input! While it's not something we're working on currently, I have noted it down for future investigation. If the status changes, we'll make sure to keep you posted.
All the best,
