    Hi Jeff,

    I see that you have Free Trial Azure subscription on your screenshot. According to documentation you cannot use it for buying paid extensions: see link https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/vsts/marketplace/faq-extensions#purchases--billing

    Q: Can I use the Azure Free Trial to buy from the Visual Studio Marketplace?

    A: No, you can't use the Azure Free Trial to pay for Visual Studio Marketplace purchases, which applies to VSTS, Xamarin University, and so on. Instead, set up a separate Pay-As-You-Go Azure subscription, which you can do before or during your purchase.

     

    Can you setup Pay-as-you-go subscription and retry?

    Hello, same problem here. My trial has expired today, and I get "unexpected response from Azure" error message on the purchase page. I do have a pay as you go subscription.
