1. Users have entered timesheet for a month say August.
2. One of our ADMIN team member locked the weeks of August month on 10th Sept. They locked because they need to prepare the invoice for projects for the month of August. Eventually they prepared the invoices on 20th September.
3.At the end of September, ADMIN team noticed that even after they locked the weeks, there is some discrepancy between the current time tracker data and the data on which they prepared the invoices.
4.Further investigation revealed that after 20th September, few users changed their time tracker entries where their approver unlocked the August weeks and allowed them to update entries. The users were unaware that this may impact havoc.
5.This created unwanted confusion & mistrust because the data on which the invoice was generated was changed now.
To avoid such a situation, is this possible to allow locking & unlocking facility to some specific users ONLY? Say the person having Global approver role can only lock and unlock the weeks and not anybody else.
