New Add/Edit time dialog - choose activity type with keyboard

Hi,

When I add a new or edit existing time (in the new dialog), I can set/change Activity type from keyboard with use of Up/Down arrow. But it takes to many types to reach i.e. "Support". It would be nice to do it with letters. When I type "S", the first Activity type that starts with a "s" is chosen.

  Hi Tomasz,

  Right, that kind of dropdowns should support search by typing letters. I reported this to the team, we will improve the behavior (id: 32291).

  We are also interested in this.  We have about 17 activity types so using the arrows is slower than we'd like.  We would like to be able to tab off the time fields and type "t" to jump to "Testing" for example.  Pressing the same letter again should also jump to any other activity types, e.g. Training, etc.  Thank you!  :)

  Thank-you for your message. We had some delays with this one however we are considering implementing keyboard shortcuts in the next quarter, so this is great input.

  We'll keep you posted on our progress on this thread.
