Ability to set daily hours limit and distribute time entry to next day over that limit

I want to split the time into multiple days automatically if entered hours is more than 8 hours. E.g - If I enter 10 hours in the duration field then it should put 8 hours in Day 1 and 2 hours in Day 2.
