I would like to use the use arrow keys on my keyboard to expand/collapse the tree in Times Explorer.
Our finance administration asked me to report our work effort using Budget. Therefore, I have to assign a Budget to each task on the Times Explorer page. Due to the high number and volumn of tasks, I have to expand/collapse the tree many times. I would love to use the arrow keys for this, to reduce the change of RSI.

We do not have these plans right now.
But it looks like you are doing too much work that can be reduced: if your worklogs have tasks: you can assign that tasks directly to the budget on Budgets page and all tracks will inherit task's budget. You can also assign higher level work item to the budget and all children tasks will inherit budget and all related worklogs as well.
And even if you are working on comments without work items: you can use Shift+Click (or Ctrl+Click) to select multiple rows.
