    Hello,

my name is Roman and I work as a Product Owner at 7pace. I am currently checking some older feature requests to find out if they are still relevant.

The current functionality of Timesheets allows ordering of groups, but ony by columns that are used for the grouping itself. E.g. if a user groups according to Team Project, they will be able to order the groups according to Team Project. It is indeed not possible to order groups using summary of hours inside the group.

Could someone who upvoted this feature request describe the intended use case a bit more? Additionally, is sorting by 'total hours' the only one needed or are there some other cases?

    Thank you,
    R.

    Hi Roman,

Thanks for taking the time to consider this feature.

My thought here was that no matter how the data is grouped, each group is associated with a total number of hours and rows. If there are only a few groups listed, it is easy to ascertain which group is the largest. But if there are 20 groups, for example, it is difficult to tell which group has the most hours or rows. It would be advantageous to be able to sort my list of groups based on the number of hours attributed to each group.

As a bonus, it would be nice to sort by the number of rows attributed to each group, too.

    Cheers,

    Matthew
