It could be interesting to have 2 fields for activity description.

One for internal comment and one for external comment (for example a description to send to the final customer)

We use daily you app to send rapports to our customers

  Hi Alessandro!

  What do you think if you will use the comment for both internal and external activities with a text separator? And in export, you could format it based on this separator.

  Sure, is a workaround we already use.

  But I think is better to have 2 different fields, in order to export and not re-elaborate the excel.

  I agree with you, but it seems to be a pretty specific case.
  I'll discuss your request with our product owners and for now, setting a "Gathering feedback" state for it, so we could track what community is thinking and how useful will it be.

  I think this would be a great idea...if nothing else, give us the ability to add a custom field that we can use for whatever we wish.

  Hi Marc

  you may be aware of this already but I thought I'd mention it just in case - DevOps does allow you to add custom fields to a work item type. This is of course different from adding a comment to a worklog, however you may be able to use this as a workaround at least in some of your use-cases. I hope it helps!
