Would like to dynamically fill the Activity Type, based on the type of task (even if set to required) … Because Activity type should be a must, but it should not be set to “not set” by default, rather by default to a value derived from the task.

  thank you for your message!

  We were discussing this today and I would like to ask you a question - currently, multiple users can log their time against the same work item using different Activity types. For example, a Developer may use 'Development' a Project Manager could use 'Planning' and a QA could use 'testing'.

  If we were to automate this based on the type of work item, do you have a sense as to how you would want us to handle a scenario like the one I described above? Would you want to be able to use just one Activity Type for each type of work item (Epic, Feature, PBI etc)?
