Effort column empty in timesheet

The Effort column in the timesheet page is empty. All work-items in hierarchy have original estimate, effort and remaining work filled in.

How is the Effort column computed in the timesheet?

  Hello Νίκος,
  
  Thank you for reaching out to us. In order for the effort column to be displayed on the Timesheet, it needs to be entered on the work item and the Project needs to be configured to use effort.
  Could you please provide us with a screenshot of the work item where the effort is filled and you are not seeing it on the Timesheet, as well as a screenshot of the Work Item Automation page settings, as below:
