Ability to customize visible activity types for a specific work item
Gathering FeedbackWe would like to have the ability to customize the number of activity types that are displayed in the dropdown for a particular work item. For example, if we have a dedicated work item to track PTO hours of all the professionals in the firm, we'd like the ability to display only the 'PTO, Sick, Holiday' activity type. So when a professional wants to enter his/her PTO work hours to this work item, he should be able to see only one activity type - 'PTO, Sick, Holiday' in the dropdown. This would avoid selection of incorrect activity types like Planning, Development, Testing, Training etc. for a dedicated PTO work item.

Thank you for the feature request. It is the first time we hear about such need, but I understand why this could be beneficial. Let us see if this grabs community attention and gets some upvotes.
Out of curiosity, I guess you are using Acitivity Types in reporting, and an incorrectly selected Activity Type for Paid Time Off then distorts the data, is that right? Have you tried, as an alternative solution, to use a separate Budget for Vacations so as you can recognize all PTOs by Budget disregards the Activity Type? I know it is not ideal, but maybe it could help.
