Hi guys,
We finally started implementing possibility to send notifications from Timetracker. We will roll-out first version with reminders about running tracking soon (with a bunch of great improvements you will definitely like) and after that we will start thinking about adding more notifications into the system, like Approval is awaiting, you forgot to add time or maybe even something else (like weekly report with your time).
I will post updates into this request about our progress here.

On https://support.7pace.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115000365626-Email-Alert-or-Notification-New-Time-Sheet-Awaiting-Approval Maxim says "right now automatic reminders are not yet available and unfortunately it is not in the plans as of today", but this one has the status "In the Works" ...
Hopefully the latter is true, and the developers can be automatically reminded to put in their time reports, or to send them for approval

Is this something to get implemented soon? Seems like is a request from 3 years ago. Would love to have an option to send friendly reminders to the users to track time if they are not tracking time. For employees lets say we want them to track time from 9 Am to 1 PM and 2 PM to 6 PM, and if they have not been tracking time for lets say 15 minutes, send them a notification on the desktop app or an email notification. This can ensure they are always tracking their time against a Work Item in Azure DevOps

Hi Hector and thanks for your feedback!
If I get you right - you are talking about a little different feature, not the one discussed in this thread.
Here is a request that seems more suitable for you https://support.7pace.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115011769166-Would-like-Allow-adjustment-of-start-time-and-Enable-reminder-if-user-is-idle-in-new-Windows-ClientRegards,

Hi Neff,
this is something we are currently discussing internally, aiming to have it out by the end of Q2.

Hi All,
if you are on a Cloud subscription now you will be able to find this under Settings > Reminders and Notifications> Reminders Tab. Specifically, you can now choose
- to be reminded to enter time if you haven't logged at least a certain amount of time per day/week
- to receive a daily reminder to log time, always at the same time
- to be reminded to submit your Timesheet, once a week
We hope you will like this feature and we look forward to receiving your feedback!
Kind Regards,
Andrea

Hi Jason,
thank you for your question! Each person can turn this on and off. The thinking behind this decision is that rather than building something to enforce company/org - wide policies we wanted to build a tool available to each individual to help them make the best use of our application, as they see fit. I hope this helps!
Best,
Andrea
