    Hi guys,

We finally started implementing possibility to send notifications from Timetracker. We will roll-out first version with reminders about running tracking soon (with a bunch of great improvements you will definitely like) and after that we will start thinking about adding more notifications into the system, like Approval is awaiting, you forgot to add time or maybe even something else (like weekly report with your time).

I will post updates into this request about our progress here.

    Hi guys,

we are rolling out v4 right now, we have possibility to send email notifications there. I'll putting this item into backlog that we start adding new kinds of notifications like this one. I think it will take several sprints for us to plan and implement.

On  https://support.7pace.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115000365626-Email-Alert-or-Notification-New-Time-Sheet-Awaiting-Approval Maxim says "right now automatic reminders are not yet available and unfortunately it is not in the plans as of today", but this one has the status "In the Works" ...

Hopefully the latter is true, and the developers can be automatically reminded to put in their time reports, or to send them for approval

Is this something to get implemented soon? Seems like is a request from 3 years ago. Would love to have an option to send friendly reminders to the users to track time if they are not tracking time. For employees lets say we want them to track time from 9 Am to 1 PM and 2 PM to 6 PM, and if they have not been tracking time for lets say 15 minutes, send them a notification on the desktop app or an email notification. This can ensure they are always tracking their time against a Work Item in Azure DevOps

Hi Hector and thanks for your feedback!

If I get you right - you are talking about a little different feature, not the one discussed in this thread.
Here is a request that seems more suitable for you https://support.7pace.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115011769166-Would-like-Allow-adjustment-of-start-time-and-Enable-reminder-if-user-is-idle-in-new-Windows-Client

Hi Maxim,  I think Hector's question does apply to this thread.  3 years ago it was in the works, what is the status on this request?   Automated reminders for people to enter their time?

We would also like this feature.  We previously used Tempo + Jira and automated reminders at the end of the submission period (weekly or monthly) was configured to be sent directly to end-users.

This feature would be extremely beneficial to have.

Is there any updates around the implementation for this feature? Just looking for a simple notification which goes out to anyone who hasn't submitted time for the current week.

    Hi All,

if you are on a Cloud subscription now you will be able to find this under Settings > Reminders and Notifications> Reminders Tab. Specifically, you can now choose

    - to be reminded to enter time if you haven't logged at least a certain amount of time per day/week

    - to receive a daily reminder to log time, always at the same time

    - to be reminded to submit your Timesheet, once a week

We hope you will like this feature and we look forward to receiving your feedback!

    Kind Regards,

    Andrea

Hey Andrea, if the notifications are checked, does that many everyone in the AD Org will get a notification? Or does each person in the org need to go and check that setting?

    Hi Jason,

thank you for your question! Each person can turn this on and off. The thinking behind this decision is that rather than building something to enforce company/org - wide policies we wanted to build a tool available to each individual to help them make the best use of our application, as they see fit. I hope this helps!

    Hello Andrea,

What if we need it enforced at the Org Level as a lot of people need reminding?

    Thanks,

    Hi there,

thanks for reaching out. Currently we don't have plans on implementing this in the near future, but we have this request already in our community. I invite you to upvote this request to raise its priority:
