    Does it have any hint when you roll over it?

    Some questions to get more information to help us investigate:

    Is it repeating when you close and open that specific item again?

    What is the type of the item?

    Are you using TFS or VSTS?

    What happens if you open item directly?

    Hi Maxim,

    We believe it was because the account was not authorised. Once we'd done this it worked. Maybe a better error message should be shown.
