This has happened to me more than a dozen times, requiring me to authenticate. Last time it refused to re-authenticate in Chrome, evenually in Edge i managed to re-authenticate, and only by completely ignoring the instructions about a drop-down menu and Active Directory an so on, because while the linked page was present none of the content it said to use was. However, clicking Proceed without completing the instructions from that re-authentication page then brought me to an authentication page which worked - there seems to be something incorrect here - like it's showing the 'can't re-authenticate' page and guidance incorrectly, obstructing the user from finding the actual re-authentication page.
In addition, if you can see how to reduce the incidence of re-authorisation being required, that would be good - I've had some days where the app has lost its authentication several times in the same day, which also gets quite intrusive - I shouldn't have to keep re-pairing the app.
