Hi David, this appears to be a serious drawback for you, we are sorry. We have heard about the application repeatedly asking for  authentication, but not in a dimension that you described. Can you help to quantify the issue? How often does this happen per week in average? Anyone else out there can contribute with numbers here? Thanks.

It loses its login requiring clicking to connect again generally at least once or twice a day. Sometimes this fails to authenticate and requires authorisation again - this varies, sometimes it doesn't happen on a given day but it's also been known to happen a few times a day, so maybe 6-7 times a week?

Refusing to re-pair is less common - I've only had that once, but it took at least an hour of trying different things to get it working again so it's a serious issue for an app that's not supposed to get in the way.

    Hi,

We assume that core authentication and authorization issues were resolved in our latest releases (4.8-4.9).

Could you please check and confirm that it is resolved for you?

    Regards,

    Andarth

There was an issue recently, but I think that was related to a general VSTS outage - aside from that it's been much better at retaining authorisation. Will have to wait to see if it's completely resolved, though
