Start tracking and windows client - different work items

Hello,

we've a odd problem with the windows client. On some pc it's working as expected but on some pcs its starting the wrong task sometimes.

 

Please look at the screenshots for a better explanation.

 

TFS web interface shows task 9977. Windows client task 9981. No timetracking is running at the moment.

Then we start tracking via web. The windows client starts the other task, as you can see in the next screenshot.

If we look at the web interface we see the other task too.

  Hi Andreas!

  We are aware of this issue and it will be fixed soon.

  Some insights on it - Time tab is not refreshed on switching between items in query results, so it means previous IDs are passed to Windows Client, that is why you see different IDs.

  thanks for the fix. We tested it and it still occurs, but only on Firefox.

  Hi, we are sorry for that, I've checked and could confirm that this issue is still happening in Firefox, so I've created a backlog item for it and it will be fixed in our next releases.
