I would like to be able to apply a multiplier to a Time Log of a particular Activity Type. For example, I would like to create additional Activity Types for "Development x1.5" and "Development x2.0" that would automatically multiply the actual hours by the noted multiplier in order to handle an out of hours scenario. This multiplier will not affect the start and end times, just the actual hours and/or billable hours.
The idea behind this feature would be to help facilitate out-of-normal hours being used to work on a WorkItem. We separate our work days into 3 bands and the client gets billed a different value (and the Engineer gets paid a different amount) for work performed in each band. For example, 12:00a – 8:30a is billed at 2.0x the actual hours worked. 8:30a – 5:00p is billed at 1.0x and 5:0p – 12:00a is billed at 1.5x. These values could easily be calculated for billing and payroll purposes (which are both done in a separate system), however, it could make things much simpler for planning and reporting from DevOps if we knew what the final hours were.
