Only user assigned to the work item should be able to track or add time to that work item

My requirement is that only the user to whom the work item is assigned should be able to add or track time on the work item.

Is this to prevent people from accidentally logging time against the wrong items?Often companies have different employees track time against the same Work Item using different Activity Types. However, I am assuming that in your case you create a different item for each step of the workflow (Development, QA, etc), and therefore each item is assigned to just one person throughout the whole development cycle. Hi Mahdi,
as you can also see in the number of downvotes for this request, we are very cautious with implementing such features that enforce very strict rules regarding time tracking, since this of course would take away a lot of flexibility. For this reason this feature is definitely not in our plans at the moment.
But I am curious to hear your use case on this. Maybe you can give some more details why your company would benefit from this?

Hi Nicole,
In our company, we create work items per activity type. For example, we define a work item for design, a work item for development and a work item for deployment. Normally, each work item assign to a user and user should add time for it. During work item has been assigned to that user no body should be able to add time to that work item.
I understand the reason that the others want to add time by multiple users, but I believe you can add this feature as an option.
