let me define a list of items that are always selectable in the desktop app

The work item selection in the desktop app currently shows the most recently used items. However, the item I need is often not in the list, so I need to go to our wiki or my onenote to look up the work item ID of the item I need.

We have a list of about 10-15 common items we use for tracking times. I'd like to be able to set these items as "favorites" in the desktop app, so that they will always show up in the work item dropdown list.

  Hello Mathias,

  thank you for your feedback. Pinning favourite items is one of the more popular requests, but it is not in our roadmap for the next few months, so I cannot promise any delivery date.

  We already have a similar feature request, I will therefore close this one so that we track the request and upvotes in one place. I recorded your 'vote' in our product backlog already, so there is no further action needed on your end.

  Out of my curiosity, what do your 10-15 'common items' represent? Are these some general items like 'support', 'meetings', or are these more specific?
