Hi,

I have posted the below question in the Time Tracker "Q&A" forum in the last quarter of 2017 and got the below answer. Please let me know if this is going to be available in the coming release? BTW, when the next release is going to take place?

Question

When Time sheet is submitted for approval, is it possible for a developer to specify a person (lead) who will approve the time sheet? Asking this because, there are many developer groups in my organization and leads are also different for each group. Now suppose all leads are having required role for approval, then all of them will be able to see all developers’ time sheets which is not desirable. How to implement such hierarchical structure?

Answer that I received:

Hi Santanu, at the moment, you can't. This use case is with high priority in our backlog, we have it actually scheduled for the upcoming sprints. It will be part of the 'Rules and Permissions' update, expected to be available in first half 2018.

  We released Approval Managers feature, now it is possible to chose manager on submitting time for approval.
